Perks of going to a Christian school: You get Easter holiday off. I mean all four days! It's awesome and well deserved. It makes sense, because this holiday is the reason why we are all Christians.
But what does the death of Jesus mean to us?
Well, it means more than just bunnies and chocolate and candy eggs. It's literally the reason why we are Christians. Back at home, Easter is such a big deal, we make sure we celebrate it grand style, so I tried my best to do the same.
I enjoyed my Easter break, and I can say I experienced God. He showed me it is never too late, and in the funniest way ever. I made it for a Rihanna concert the very last minute. I'm a die-hard Rihanna fan, so this literally meant the world to me!
I took this to relate to my Easter, 'cause attending the concert was so last minute it was like a miracle. I was also able to spend quality time with my friends - which I consider family, just as I would have if I was at home in Nigeria. We went out to eat and enjoyed each other's company.
On Sunday, I also went to church - of course, made sure I wore a new dress and the sunshine was amazing!
It was a blessed Easter, I enjoy my time with my friends celebrating the love God had for us to send his only begotten son to die and to save someone like me.
