Here's a little minion joy for those of us needing it! I hope everyone's week has been great!
Luckily it's Friday, but for some of us, that just means a lot more work to do over the weekend. That is, if you're a college student—especially one who has the "overcommitted" status. (Watch out for my symptoms of an over-committer.)
For most of you, they tell you college is like this:
When it's really like this:
Don't be alarmed, it's actually not EVER THAT SERIOUS. Lol.
But sometimes, you might almost feel like this. In those times, remember that college wasn't structured to defeat you, but to build you. It may not seem easy now, but when you're making a difference, doing what you love, it'll all be worth it.
If you ever feel overwhelmed:
- Remember to CHILL.
- Take a deep breath.
- Take a break.
- Do something to calm you down: take a walk, close your eyes, lay down.
- Meditation is a nice way to cool off.
- Always take joy in simple things.
- Don't forget, a lot of other people have been through this as well! Therefore you are not alone.
