As tragedies continue to elapse around the world, they cause us to wonder. Sometimes, we question God as to why these things are happening. I, like everyone else, have done the same and come to the conclusion that as mere humans we just can't understand.
Some people blame it on the sins of the world, saying God has had enough. Others say it is just the end-time signs. I personally don't believe it's the world coming to an end yet, because the world has had it way worse than it is now (not saying what is happening now is not horrible). Could it be the dawning of World War 3? All these questions and thoughts arise as the rumors of war never cease.
But in all, we should take time to reflect, pray for peace in the world and not be quick to point fingers. Be sensitive to the things you say and be thoughtful in the actions you make.
This could be a depressing time for some.
Recently, I heard disaster struck in Northern Nigeria, and Africans raged in the fact that the world does not remember Africa when attacked (in regard to the attack in Kenya earlier in April). We could all give a million and one reasons why the attacks weren't getting Facebook to give the country flag filter. But all that won't remove the damage the attack has done.
We therefore just have to keep the world in our prayers, and like one of the greatest poets of our generation, Kendrick Lamar, once said:
Love is all you really need.
