My life at Calvin has been a roller coaster this year. It has its ups and downs that make the ride a true experience of what life will be like in the future. Even with the craziness and busyness of life, there are moments that helps life to keep me going. Those moments are the little things that male life better. It's the little things!
Today my class started out later than normal. I noticed that I felt much more alive for a Monday morning since I got 20 more minutes of sleep and getting the chance to eat breakfast as well. When I got to my class, everyone else seemed to have more life to them given the extra 20 minutes. In reality, 20 minutes may not seem like its a lot, but at this point every minute that is given matters. Along with the extra 20 minutes of sleep, our amazing professor (Professor Lubbers) brought us bagels from Panera. Everyone got excited about the free bagels from Panera. It was really cool and even if I had breakfast already, it was bagels from Panera. Thank you, Professor Lubbers! Now to think about the class, I got the chance to go out for my nursing class as I usually do on Monday mornings. My group and I got the chance to get Starbucks as well. It's the little things that helps the day better and all the unexpected little things that really makes us smile.
As to conclude the little things in life, many of us have an obsessions with puppies. I can consider myself as one of those people who truly LOVES puppies. I wish I had puppies, especially after today! Today my group and I got the chance to play and pet the puppies that were on Commons Lawn. It's the little things in life that makes us smile and the little things in life that helps us get through the day. It's the little things like puppies that cheer college students. The puppies were adorable and truly bring out joy to the sleep-deprived college students. I find that the little kind act of the owner to bringing her puppies to the lawn really helped people feel better. Thank you to Lindsey, the owner of the puppies that needed socializing and for letting the college students pet them for five minutes! It's the little things in life!
Enjoy the little things in LIFE!
I will keep trying to enjoy the little things!
