Gallant is one of the concerts I went to at Calvin. He is one of the most amazing artist I've encountered and listen to. Gallant considers himself to be in the unknown category. The music he plays is a mix of R&B and electric music. I find this combination very interesting because we do not necessarily get this mix of genres nowadays. I remember his concert was very hype! He was dancing and singing around the stage. I think he was giving the performance for the audience, because we were very responsive. Gallant was able to bring in the energy in his performance. One of the ways I can say he brought his best during his performance was because during one of his songs, he was singing and dancing around so much that his mic was pulled off. He eventually plugged it back in to continue the performance, which was amazing. Another fun part of Gallant's performance: the cords got stuck in one of the speakers. I had to help him out by untangling the cords so that he can continue his performance. Along with these mishaps of the performance, he showed us how important it is to give a great show, no matter what. I think he was able to do his and was able to handle it well.
After the performance, Gallant stayed to answer questions and to meet us in person. I was able to talk to him about how awesome the performance was. I even mentioned to him that I was the one who untangled his cord during the performance. He thanked me and even signed my ticket. In my ticket he said, "Thanks for coming through man!" I felt so special! He was so cool! I absolutely love his music, and I think other people should listen to him as well.
