How do I manage two jobs, 17 credits, multiple extra-curriculars, and a social life? Simple:
“It’s called a Time-Turner, and I got it from President Le Roy on my first day back. I’ve been using it all year to get to all my lessons. President Le Roy made me swear I wouldn’t tell anyone. He had to write all sorts of letters to the Ministry of the CRC so I could have one. He had to tell them that I was a model student, and that I’d never, ever use it for anything except my studies … I’ve been turning it back so I could do hours over again, that’s how I’ve been doing several lessons at once, see?”
Okay … maybe that isn’t quite entirely the truth (I may or may not have directly stole that from Harry Potter. Sorry, JK Rowling). I sadly do not get an extra 24 hours every day of my life like Hermoine Granger. Instead, I have to use time management just like everyone else.
While I can’t give you a time-turner, I can give you some advice for how to best utilize your time at Calvin College. I will be drawing from my own personal life on how to make the most of your time here at Calvin. Over the next five days I will be revealing my thrive-in-five: How to maximize your time here at Calvin College.
