Life on the Honors Floor

When I signed up to be on the honors floor, I had no idea what I was signing up for. I joined 3rd van Reken for a number reasons: air-conditioning, bigger bathrooms, and … did I mention air-conditioning? Only joking … well, sort of.  In reality, I don’t think I had a very good reason for joining 3rd vR. I figured, “Well, I’m pretty smart. And I’ve always hung out with nerds. Sounds like the honors floor is the place for me!”

However, when I was filling out my application for 3rd vR, I never expected to find such a close-knit community of passionate people. I never expected to be challenged daily by my peers to grow as an individual and widen my beliefs. Living on the honors floor has changed my life, and I am so incredibly grateful for every person who has lived or currently lives on the honors floor.

There are so many reasons why I love 3rd vR, but I’ll try my hardest to choose only a few. Over the next five days keep checking back to read about what life is really like on the honors floor. (Hint: there is not as much studying happening here as you’d think.)
